Mitchell Hensley is Director of Software Strategy and Data Analytics at Sensus, a Xylem brand, and leads marketing, business development, and software development efforts across the business unit. Sensus helps a wide range of public service providers—from utilities to cities to industrial complexes and campuses—do more with their infrastructure to improve quality of life in their communities.
Prior to his current role, Mitchell worked as a primary architect of Sensus’ Big Data project, which focused on analyzing the behavior patterns of millions of AMI meters, and helped launch the Sensus Analytics utility platform and customer portal. He has over 15 years’ experience in the utility industry and has worked closely with water, electric and gas utilities across the US on the implementation and support of AMI and AMR. Mitchell attended Louisiana State University, majoring in Computer Science.
