Jeff Halstead recently retired as the Chief of Police for the city of Fort Worth. Chief Halstead was the first major city Chief of Police to advance body worn camera technology into a major city police department. As a peer expert, he participated in President Obama’s “21st Century Community Policing” Task Force, sharing his knowledge, policy experience, and technology implementation advice with the Department of Justice. Previously, he retained command level positions at the Phoenix Police Department, where he began his career in law enforcement.
